What is the Pomodoro Technique?

Work for 25 minutes (one "pomodoro"), then take a 5-minute break. After 4 pomodoros, take a longer 15-minute break. This cycle helps maintain focus and prevent burnout. Developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s.

Tips

During focus time: close social media, put your phone face-down, and work on one task only. During breaks: stand up, stretch, look away from the screen. The break is essential — skipping it reduces effectiveness.
